What people are saying about 88 Marketplace Real feedback from customers who have visited us.
It is actively busy in and out. From their two parking lot to the grocery store. Also thankful that the parking lot is free. The groceries store has a lot of good variety from veggies, dried and frozen food. Giving a lot of props to the cashier and bagger, who are actively working as fast as they can to move the line.
China's Mid-Autumn Festival is a day for family reunions. There are many people shopping, and the scene is bustling. The goods are abundant and fresh. The shopping malls are spacious and clean, and the snacks are rich and varied, delicious and fragrant. It is full of rich oriental colors and is a good place for shopping, leisure, participating in activities and tasting delicious food.
By far the largest market I have ever been. Anything I was looking for I found. Definitely a place to check out.
This mall is cute. The 88 marketplace is inside Jefferson Square. It has much variety and it’s a huge place. The prices are fair but not cheapest. But the fact that you will find like 10 aisles of candy and chips and snacks is enough to come here. There are like 6 rows of just frozen dumplings. It’s on a second level after you go up an escalator. It has a seafood and meat section as well. If you want and need variety for pan Asian food you should come here. Free and massive parking lot which is hard to find in the city of Chicago. Has so much here and pan Asian food and restaurants. It's a place anyone should go to find all kids of goodies including slippers seafood candy cookies veges fruit bakery seaweed meat and plates and so much more. They have live seafood.
Great spot for grabbing any type of Asian ingredients. The building where this grocery store is located is very nice and modern. The bathrooms are decently clean but not the cleanest. The restaurants are nice as most of them have a very convenient way of ordering but when it's busy, it's busy. We ordered our food but didn't get a text that it was ready until 10 minutes later. Thankfully, I checked with the food vendor and it was made before we got the text. We did not try the hot pot on the first floor but the restaurants on the top floor were great! The food from all of the places are excellent choices of Chinese food. Can't go wrong with any of them as they all looked and smelled delicious. The products in the grocery parts are all very well organized. The meats, veggies, seafood and other products looked fresh. You'll be able to find all sorts of Asian snacks, coffee, tea, candy and much more here. We didn't have any trouble finding the same snacks that we have at our local asian grocery store. The parking lot is packed but there is a second lot not too far from the building. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and the first parking lot was full. The surrounding area is a bit sketchy so remember to lock your door. Other than that, nothing happened to our car. Overall, an excellent Asian store with amazing Chinese foods available.
This is the best Asian grocery in the area - much better than Hmart or Mitsuwa if you’re looking for live seafood. Well stocked with everything you need and has pastries section. And also a home goods place downstairs to check out. My favorite place to stock up on Asian groceries when we drive to Chicago area
